In our experience the Staff was more concerned about their Halloween costumes and the morning gossip than helping us. When we get called to the check in desk we immediately encounter attitude because my aunt is not able to use the computer pad to check in, her computer skills are 0% and she wanted help. I tried to help, but the reception person was being confrontational and so I let her take over because we were too slow for her liking. She then proceeded to check in my aunt with a condescending tone, but she helped us. We were then told to sit anywhere and that we would be called by her technician. About 10 minutes pass (not bad). Then we get called back and immediately notice how unwilling and unresponsive the tech is to help my aunt. She is 89. I’m pretty sure the receptionist told the tech we were giving her problems. If not, then we encountered two different employees with bad training on elderly patience care. I go back with her and the tech is cold and obviously not familiar with elderly patients. She (my aunt) needed a little time to take her clothes and shoes off, again we weren’t fast enough. As he gets started on her ultrasound he seems to ignore her when she’s telling him she can not do certain movements and she needs to move slowly because she’s hurt and in pain hence the reason we are there getting imaging done. It turned out fine but I wonder how she would have been treated if I wasn’t in the room while the test went on. I don’t know what the issue was or if this was just an off day for these employees. I know this place is not bad, we’ve been here many times for my aunts imaging services. But, WOW, really negative experience. I expect better from this place. Especially when dealing with elderly people! I don’t need your manager or whoever reads these reviews to comment on how they will look in to it. What I want is for you to train your employees on how to be empathetic towards all patients. I’m totally disappointed in your customer service.

Driving there with the help of google maps directed me to a one way street. I attempted four different times. Decided to go outside the box and pleased I had found the building. Because I had an appointment I didn't need to stand in a line with six other people.That was nice. My wait sitting wasn't long less than 5m. Technician explained everything categorically and helped with what was needed. I was even asked for my covid immunization card at the end. Over all experience was good.

I had walk-in x-rays December15 and at that time, with a very helpful gal at the Hillcrest site, was able to move my dexa-scan appointment up from March to December 17. Reception and technicians are very efficient and cordial and I am amazed and grateful with the quick response time for the radiologists' reports. All was perfect with my experience in both x-rays and scan..... as always. Thank you!

I was referred here by Dr Anderson from San Diego Sports medicine. The wait time for an appointment was 10 days and that’s pretty normal I guess. Their system is really good from a patients perspective and for someone who is still Covid cautious, I appreciate their protocols. You arrive and text the front desk? They then text back to come into the lobby. I had pre registered on my phone and so they directed me to a waiting area. My appointment was for 3.30 and they ask you arrive 30 minutes before. So I was seen within a few minutes. Big shout out to Ben who could not have been kinder or more accommodating towards me. I’m not keen on MRIs as I’ve only had brain MRIs and they have been long and confining but this was a knee and without contrast so my head didn’t go in the ‘tube’ and no IV plus I was given pillows so my neck was super comfy! It didn’t take more than 15 minutes but I so appreciated Ben as patients generally have these MRIs so infrequently and the professionals do them many times a day- and it becomes rote-so it’s unbelievably calming to have a person treat you with patience and guide you through the process Thanks for making an often intimidating experience be bearable.

The parking situation is a little tough but I had been once before and knew what to expect that way, plus I was able to go in the early afternoon on a weekday when it was less crowded. If it’s your first time you might want to check it out on google maps satellite view ahead of time, as I think the first time my app was confused and wanted me to go the wrong way down a one way street and I had to drive around a couple times to find my way in. I really, really love that you can do your pre-appointment paperwork from home online, quickly do the day-of check in from your car, then wait in it to receive a text letting you know your technician is ready. I walked in expecting to wait a bit longer inside like on my first visit, but my tech Amanda was by the door waiting for me as I walked in. I was wearing a kn95 and as soon as we got into the room she quietly put on a surgical mask, which I very much appreciated. She explained everything about the procedure and what I had to do really clearly, made sure I knew I could tell her to stop at any time for any reason and she would. We were chatting while she imaged when she said something familiar and I realized she had been my tech for a different procedure last year, which also went really well. At the end she let me know when the referring doctor’s office should receive my results. I received a notification myself that the images and report were ready a couple days after the appointment which I think is great turnaround time. I had been very nervous going into it as I was getting an imaging procedure I’d never experienced before. Medical appointments in general make me nervous and leave me feeling drained and needing to recover typically, but everything went so smoothly and Amanda was so kind and communicative that I left there feeling calm and appreciative. Thanks Amanda and also to the administrators who have such a great system in place! I will definitely be using the Hillcrest location for any future imaging.

Everyone I interacted with was professional and kind. The sonogram technician did an amazing job of explaining everything that would happen, as well as what we were looking at in the imaging and what it meant. I received formal documentation of those results about two hours later. The place is very clean and relatively calming for a medical office. The staff and expediency of the results made this a much less stressful experience than I had expected.

I'm giving them a five-star for their staff professionalism and knowledge. For some procedures you can get an appointment but for x-rays you cannot walk-in only. There always is an hour or more wait for walk-ins. The staff is always friendly and helpful if you have any paperwork that hasn't been processed from your doctor they will help you as much as they can. If you don't want to sit inside and wait which I usually do not when I go there there's a nice patio with plants tables and chairs. There is free parking and there's also metered parking on the street. This time I was in the Radiology with Paris a kind and knowledgeable technician. Who let me know every time that I needed to change body poses and gently moved me into position when I was not. She laughed at my sense of humor which made me feel very comfortable being there . My experience going here over the years has always been a good one and I highly recommend this particular Imaging Center.
